We know that everyone is different and one package will not work, so we will determine together what will suit you and your needs. We want to help you develop a new way of thinking about dressing for any occasion that will last throughout your life. We are here to help you feel confident in yourself and in your clothing. We will take your style that you already have and develop it to make you look your best. Fashion is fun and should be effortless!

MEET THE STYLISTS

Gina Nicole Vericella is the owner of gigi BOTTEGA. She opened the first location in 2009 in Bloomington, IL and the second location in 2011 in Evanston, IL. She has always had a passion for clothing and design ever since she was a child. She was inspired by her grandmother Rosa, who was Italian and a Tailor who obtained the finest sewing skills from her schooling in Italy. Gina would sit with her while she would not only tailor but make beautiful couture clothing, men's and women’s, from high quality fabrics. From this Gina learned to appreciate not only the work that goes into each design, but also the importance of looking your best at all times. "Determining what cuts and styles look good on your body type can make a world of difference in the way you look and feel. I love helping people develop their unique styles and creating looks that are versatile and wearable, and also on trend. Being on trend or fashionable doesn’t mean you have to be out there and feel awkward in what you are wearing; instead it should be an effortless look of confidence."

Kelly Jacklyn Sorensen is the assistant buyer and merchandiser at gigi BOTTEGA. She met Gina when she was at her last year at Illinois State University and took an interest in the boutique. She graduated with a major in Fashion Merchandising and began her internship at the gigi BOTTEGA Bloomington location before working in the Evanston store. "I believe an outfit is not done until you accessorize it, and, color can be a girl’s best friend. Growing up, I was constantly watching shows like ‘What Not to Wear’ and ‘Project Runway’ as I always loved the idea of creating a look for someone, to make them feel better than they ever have. I have such a passion for making women feel great about themselves by wearing an outfit that makes them feel confident. Everyone has their own style, it is just a matter of discovering it and embracing it. Fashion should be fun, not stressful. Having a style all to your own is a powerful thing and can change your life."
